Grading – April 6th 2019

Categories Main

On the 6th of April, 40 Sangrok students participated in our first grading of 2019.  This was the first grading held since the new curriculum and grading format was implemented in January.  Students were tested across all six of the core training areas; poomsae, fitness, board breaking, sparring, self defence as well as basic kicks, blocks, strikes and stances.

Sangrok instructors were pleased with the taekwondo skills demonstrated by those who graded and look forward to seeing the students as they learn, improve, and achieve their taekwondo goals.

Congratulations to all students who graded in April.  Of the 40 students who attended, 5 of those achieved their yellow belts and another 4 reached Red Belt 3, which means that the next grading for them will be black belt!

Classes in 2019 will focus on all aspects of the curriculum and students also have the opportunity to work on specific skills in workshops.  We also have 2 seminars for students coming up in May when Sangrok World Taekwondo Academy Grand Master, Master Chang (9th Dan) will visit our club.
