Belt: White
Favourite kick: Turning kick and 45° kick
Why did you start taekwondo? I started taekwondo to experience a new martial art after completing my old one
Have you had other martial arts experience? I did Hapkido, which I loved, and I was good at, so I came to Taekwondo for a new take on martial arts.
Do you enjoy other sports? I play with the footy, sports like Oz Tag and Touch Footy, but I love getting into the pool for a swim. It gives me a chance to organise my thoughts.
What do you love about taekwondo? I love how Taekwondo both has its similarities and differences with Hapkido. I enjoy learning the new style of martial art.
Favourite food: I wouldn’t be able to choose. There are to many amazing foods to choose from. They are all so DELICIOUS!!!
Favourite movie, TV show, book or song: My favourite book..It’s so hard to choose from! From the books that I can remember, my favourites have got to be the Harry Potter series and the Eragon series.
What is your favourite subject at school? I love maths, what with all the working with numbers and I enjoy getting my head around tricky problems.
Do you have a life motto? Yes. It is this. Do it with Passion, or not at all.
What is something we might not know about you: I absolutely love animals! And toys. I love playing with cool things and looking and watching animals in their natural habitats.
Your advice for someone starting taekwondo: Try your best. Give everything your best go. Give Taekwondo a month or two to sink in if you’re not feeling in the moment as soon as you start it. You’ll get it eventually.
