It has been a busy start to 2024, with a new curriculum, implementing new poomsae workshops, first aid training for the instructor team, and 2 gradings. While it is starting to get cold now, we’re looking forward to another great term of training.

There will be no training on Monday 27 May or Monday 10 June due to the public holidays.

POOMSAE WORKSHOP

The next poomsae workshop will be held on Saturday 4 May at 10.30am. This session will focus on Oh Jang and Yuk Jang.

This session is open to all students, regardless of belt rank or membership type (it is a bonus class). Please sign up via the Clubworx app or portal.

CLUBWORX APP

We have recently begun using the Clubworx app. This app will make it easier for you to manage your bookings (and you can book for families without having to log in each person individually) as well as your account. You will already have received a link to get access to the app, however, if you would like this link re-sent to you, please just let us know.

TERM 1 GRADINGS

Congratulations to all our members who successfully graded to a new stripe or belt in our Term 1 gradings and thank you to the grading team who, in the absence of our senior instructor team, ensured a smooth and successful grading for our members.

FIRST AID TRAINING

Our instructing team (and a bunch of interested members and friends) completed our regular first aid training through ACTWell last month. We also received specific training in the use of our defibrillator. This is just one of the ways we commit to providing quality and safe taekwondo training for our members.

DROPPING AND PICKING UP CHILDREN

The Sangrok instructing team requests that all young students are escorted to and from the dojang. This will ensure that students are not left unattended before classes and that they get safely to and from the dojang.
