It’s finally starting to warm up (those mats aren’t quite as cold on a Saturday morning) so please remember to bring a drink bottle to training! We hope to have some exciting events for you over the next few months so keep an eye out on our Sangrok Students Facebook page and in your email!

COLOURED BELT GRADING

Our coloured belt grading on 21 October is coming up quickly. If you have received an invitation, please make sure you RSVP by Monday 9 September so that the team can ensure the day will run smoothly. The grading will start at 10.30 am so no classes will be affected.

BLACK BELT GRADING

Our annual black belt grading will be held on Sunday 20 October. Any students who would like to be considered for this grading must work towards completing their pre-grading assessment as a priority. Let your instructor know at the beginning of each class that you have sections of your assessment to sign off.

TYPES OF CLASSES

Sangrok holds two regular class types, beginner classes and intermediate classes. While these classes are open to all students it is important to note that the beginner classes focus on skill development from white belt through to blue belt. It is essential that students from blue to red belt and above attend some intermediate classes to continue to develop the skills required at these levels and beyond. Similarly, all students are welcome to attend the intermediate classes, however, fundamental skills are not the focus of these classes.
