NEW CLASSES FOR 2025

Sangrok is excited to announce 2 new classes for 2025:

Sangrok Mini! – Saturday 10.30 am
This is a class designed specifically for 4-7 year old kids to learn fundamental taekwondo skills in a fun and fast paced class!

Intermediate class – Thursday 6.30 pm
We will be starting a new intermediate class on Thursdays at 6.30 pm. This another opportunity for students to learn and apply more advanced skills and techniques.

This will bring us to 11 classes each week, but to keep running these we will need your support. Please come along to the new intermediate class and share our new Mini class with your friends, family colleagues and on your social media! Siblings of existing students will be free for the first term!

GRADING

Our final grading for the year will be held on Saturday 7 December. Invitations have been sent to those students who are eligible so please RSVP if you intend to train.

HOLIDAY TRAINING DATES

Our final day of training for 2024 will be Saturday 21 December and we will resume our normal classes, plus our 2 new classes, from Saturday 4 January 2025!

END OF SEASON PICNIC AND AWARDS

It was great to see so many people attend our end-of-season BBQ! Thank you for coming to celebrate a great year of training with us.

We’re so proud of the efforts and improvement of all our students so our annual awards are always hard to award. Our 2024 award recipients are:

Senior student of the year: Louis
Junior student of the year: Mikael
Merici student of the year: Clara
Most improved: Pranav
Student choice: Lily
Grand Master Chang award: Xander

We also presented the belts from our recent black belt grading. Congratulations to Dee, Xander, Laura, and Louis, who received their 2nd dan belts, and Maddie who received her 1st dan belt.

T-SHIRTS FOR TRAINING

From now until the end of February, students may wear a t-shirt to training. Please note the following conditions:

  • T-shirts must have sleeves (no singlets for hygiene reasons)
  • T-shirts must be a Sangrok branded t-shirt or a PLAIN navy or PLAIN white t-shirt without any logos or embellishments
  • Full dobok must be worn for gradings and formal events

T-shirts can be purchased at cost price (we don’t apply any mark-up) from our online apparel store.

SOCIAL MEDIA AND GOOGLE REVIEWS

As a small club, we don’t have a big budget for advertising (and attracting new members is what keeps our club viable). Sharing our social media posts and leaving a review on Google is a great way to help our club to grow and we appreciate everyone who can help us out in this small way!

We have a private Sangrok Students Facebook group too – join us here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/129924520947974
