It’s starting to get colder so remember to bring a jumper to wear after training. It’s also still important to arrive on time so you can warm up safely before training. If you happen to come a bit late, check in with your instructor and complete a self-paced warm-up before you start training – we have a guided warm-up printed out that you can follow!
FEEDBACK SURVEY
As we’re coming up to the middle of 2022 we would love to get your feedback on our club so we can continue to offer quality taekwondo training. Please use this link to fill out our very brief survey: https://forms.gle/ivdiSRmbhhTp196y6
TIMETABLE CHANGES
Over the winter months we are changing the Saturday timetable slightly. The 11.30am poomsae class will move to 10.30am and the 9.30 class will continue to be a family training class.
ONGOING CLASS BOOKINGS
In an effort to clean up the class booking schedule we have removed all ongoing class bookings from Clubworx. Please re-book any classes that you regularly attend – if you need any assistance, please just send us an email: info@sangrok.net.au
WORKSHOPS
Due to unforeseen circumstances we postponed Darien’s knife basics workshop until 19 June 2022. We are still running the poomsae workshop on 5 June 2022 – Please register to secure your place and so that we can have minimum numbers to run these workshops.
If you have any suggestions for workshops you would like to attend, just let us know!
TRAINING FOCUS
The training focus for June is below. We rotate through our different focus areas so that all students have the opportunity to train and be exposed to all aspects of our curriculum.
28 May – Sparring
4 June – Self defence and fitness
11 June – Poomsae and board breaking
18 June – Grading preparation and basics
25 June – Grading / Instructor choice
SIGNING IN TO CLASSES
Please remember to sign in to classes using the iPad when you arrive – we use class attendance data to start forming our invitation lists for grading, so if you would like to be invited to grading ensure you are signing in!
GRADING
Grading will be held on 25 June with more information to come soon!
PUBLIC HOLIDAY
There will be no training on Monday 13 June as it is a public holiday. Please make sure you book a make-up class if you normally attend on a Monday.
