The cooler weather has set in quite quickly! It gets pretty chilly in the dojang but we find we warm up pretty quickly. The mats in particular can get very cold and it is tempting to wear socks to train. Unfortunately, this creates a slip hazard so please make sure you take your socks off for training (and we can all whine about our cold feet together)!

PRE-GRADING ASSESSMENT FOR RED AND BLACK BELTS

This is a gentle reminder for any red or black belts who are intending to grade this year, you must complete your pre-grading assessment at least 2 weeks prior to your planned grading date. Start working towards this goal now. The purpose of the pre-grading assessment is to seek and implement feedback from your instructors and black belt peers so you are expected to do this over a number of months.

The black belt grading is scheduled for Sunday 29 October.
