COVID update

Isolation and stay-at-home requirements
– If you have returned from a hot-spot or an area of concern you are required to follow ACT Health stay-at-home/isolation orders. If you are affected by these orders, please contact us on info@sangrok.net.au.
– If you feel unwell please do not attend the dojang and seek advice regarding COVID testing.

QR code sign in
Please remember to always check-in via the CheckInCBR app on arrival to the club. If you forgot your phone, just let one of the Sangrok team know and we can check you in on your behalf. There are large fines for businesses and individuals who do not comply with these requirements.

Our COVIDSafe measures
We are continuing to follow our COVIDSafe measures by disinfecting surfaces and equipment between classes.

Saturday 10.30am class

For the remainder of the term, the 10.30 am class on Saturdays will be run as a general training class, rather than a poomsae-focused class. You can book this class via the Clubworx portal.

Grading

Our term 3 grading will be held on 11 September for all coloured belts. If you are aiming to grade at the red belt level please ensure you are working towards completing your pre-grading assessment prior to 28 August. Please talk to Erin or Tripharn if you have any questions about getting signed off.

Our black belt grading is tentatively scheduled for October. Anyone who is hoping to grade at the black belt level is encouraged to have their pre-grading assessment completed by October. Formal dates will be announced soon.

Training at home

Consistent practice is essential for developing as a martial artist (and for remembering your poomsae)! Our website has lots of great training resources. Please talk to your instructor is you need the password or would like advice on how to train effectively at home.

Ongoing bookings

If you have an ongoing booking for classes, please check your upcoming classes as the ongoing bookings only last for 1 year! If you need assistance please email info@sangrok.net.au or talk to Erin at training.

31/7 – Poomsae and kicking
7/8 – Sparring
14/8 – Poomsae and step sparring
21/8 – Fitness and self defence
28/8 – Sparring
4/9 – Grading preparation (based on class needs)
11/9 – Grading
18/9 – Instructor choice
