Curriculum – As you are probably aware, there has been a fair bit of updating to our curriculum over Christmas based on the feedback provided during our end of year survey (thanks again for that!). Specifically, a separate child and adult curriculm has been developed, with each outlining the requirements for each belt across 6 common core areas. These six areas are poomsae (patterns), fitness, basics, self-defence, sparring and board breaking. By bringing together these areas Sangrok provides a holistic approach to our training and also allows students to focus on their preferred areas, while still exposing them to the full range of Taekwondo skills. Detailed information is outlined on our website under the Secure Content page (https://www.sangrok.net.au/home/secure-content/) and the A4 overview is also on the whiteboard in the dojang. Please become familiar with the curriculum as April grading will be here very quickly, and it is based on this curriculum!

Don’t forget we have specific classes and workshops that focus on specific areas of the curriculum.

Grading – The next grading will be on the 6th April. More details will be made available in March. Expectations and requirements for grading can be found on the curriculum page. Please see the attached email or your instructor for the password.

This is a great time to tell your friends and family to come and see what family friendly taekwondo is all about.
