It is great to see so many people at classes as we are coming into summer! We have had a record number of new students over October, so please, when you see new students make sure you introduce yourself and make them feel welcome!
The Sangrok Team is busy planning lots of events for the next couple of months so start marking your calendars!
As the weather warms up remember to bring a drink bottle to class and remember – full dobok uniform for training in November!
BLACK BELT GRADING
Our 2022 black belt grading will be held on 27 November. This grading will run for 6 hours and showcase all aspects of our curriculum. Good luck to our students who are grading!
SANGROK TKD CAMP
Master Pravin is running an intensive taekwondo camp (in Canberra) on the 12th and 13th of November. This is sure to be a fun and informative event. There is no cost and it is open to all students!
The Sangrok camp will run over 2 days – come to 1 or both:
Saturday 12 November (1pm – 4pm) + Early pizza dinner!
Sunday 13 November (10am-1pm)
If you want to attend, please register your attendance early – this camp can only go ahead if minimum student numbers are achieved. Register your attendance HERE (scroll to the bottom of the page – you will need to register separately for each day), or you can simply book in via the Clubworx app!
COLOURED BELT GRADING
Our coloured belt grading will be held on Saturday 10 December. Any red belt students who would like to grade are encouraged to get their pre-grading assessments signed off ASAP, and no later than 26 November. If you have any questions, or would like the link to your pre-grading assessment sent to you again, email info@sangrok.net.au, or talk to Trip at training.
LAST DAY OF TRAINING FOR 2022
As you know, we have a very small break over the Christmas/New Year period. Our last day of training for 2022 will be 17 December 2022 and we will return on Wednesday 4 January!
END OF YEAR PARTY
We are starting to plan our end of year celebration and presentation event. If you have any suggestions for what we should do, let us know by email!
SAFETY AND HYGIENE AT TRAINING
Just a reminder that for your safety and that of your training partners, please remove any jewellery or watches before training and ensure that hair is tied back and nails are neatly trimmed.
BOOKING AND CHECKING IN FOR CLASSES
Don’t forget to book into classes using the Clubworx portal! It helps us to keep class numbers to a safe and effective size, and if we need to let you know about changes to your class it makes it easy to get in contact with you! If you don’t register for the class it also may not count towards your grading requirements!
As the weather is getting warmer we are getting more people coming along to classes – Blue belts and above are encouraged to come along to the 6.30pm intermediate classes!
AUSTKD MEMBERSHIP
As you will have heard or read, Australian Taekwondo require every student to register directly with them for insurance purposes. In the past we have been able to do this as a club group, however, despite months of discussions, AUSTKD insist that individual members must be registered on their system. This is the 2022 insurance fee for any students who have trained with us this year.
Sangrok is committed to keeping all fees as low as possible, so we have arranged to cover substantial discount on the 2022 membership fee – from $49, down to $19 for this year only. To take advantage of this offer, please follow this link and complete the membership form for each student and use the discount code SANG2422. https://www.revolutionise.com.au/sangrokworldtkd/registration/
Select “new member” -students who have been training for 1-2+ years may need to select “returning member” if new member doesn’t work.
To be eligible for this discount you will need to complete the registration process ASAP – we can help you with this so please let Erin know if you have any questions or issues with the process.
We do have the ability to manually enter student data and then be invoiced directed by AT, however, due to the extra administration time involved, the price for this option would be $35 per student. Please let me know if you would prefer to use this option and we will arrange via AT for your membership to be manually entered and the AT fee charged to your Sangrok account.

PLEASE LEAVE US A REVIEW
Please leave us a 5* review on Google!
